1. Overview
Site Optex supplies computer parts, components, accessories and related products to customers in Lagos and other locations in Nigeria.
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders may be processed, dispatched, delivered or made available for collection. Delivery arrangements may vary depending on product availability, customer location, order size and the delivery method selected.
2. Order Processing
Orders are processed after the order has been confirmed and, where applicable, payment has been successfully received.
Before dispatch, Site Optex may confirm product availability, customer delivery details and any applicable delivery charges.
Orders involving products that are temporarily unavailable may require additional processing time. Where this occurs, the customer will be informed where reasonably practicable.
3. Delivery Areas
We may arrange delivery within Lagos State and to other locations in Nigeria, subject to the availability of suitable logistics services.
Delivery availability may vary depending on the customer’s location, the size or nature of the order and the logistics provider serving the area.
4. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges may depend on the customer’s location, package size, weight, delivery method and applicable logistics rates.
Where delivery charges apply, the customer will be informed of the applicable charge before the order is dispatched, where reasonably practicable.
5. Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimates rather than guaranteed deadlines. Actual delivery may be affected by traffic, weather, public holidays, logistics capacity, supplier delays, address issues and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Customers will be given an estimated delivery timeframe where one can reasonably be provided based on the selected delivery method and destination.
6. Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and reachable contact details.
If incorrect or incomplete information results in a failed delivery, additional delivery charges, return-to-sender costs or delays, the customer may be responsible for the resulting costs where applicable.
7. Delivery Attempts
The logistics provider may contact the customer to arrange or complete delivery. Customers should remain available at the agreed delivery location or ensure that an authorised person is available to receive the order.
If delivery cannot be completed because the recipient is unavailable or the delivery information is inaccurate, another delivery attempt may attract an additional charge.
8. Inspection Upon Receipt
Customers should inspect their order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or collection.
If the wrong product has been delivered, a product is visibly damaged, or there is another significant delivery discrepancy, the customer should contact Site Optex promptly and provide the relevant order details and, where appropriate, photographs of the issue.
Customers should retain packaging and order documentation until any delivery issue has been resolved.
9. Collection
Where collection is available, customers will be informed when an order is ready for collection.
Customers may be required to provide order confirmation, payment evidence or other reasonable identification before an order is released. Collection arrangements, operating hours and collection location will be communicated at the time of order confirmation.
10. Delays and Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Site Optex is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe traffic, accidents, weather conditions, public emergencies, strikes, government restrictions, logistics disruptions, supplier delays, incorrect customer information, telecommunications failures or other unforeseen events.
Where we become aware of a material delay, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an update.
11. Failed, Lost or Damaged Deliveries
If an order is reported as lost, materially damaged or incorrectly delivered while in the care of a third-party logistics provider, Site Optex may work with the customer and the logistics provider to investigate the matter.
The outcome of a claim may depend on the delivery provider’s procedures, evidence available and the applicable terms of the order or product warranty.
12. Returns and Refunds
Shipping and delivery matters are separate from product returns and refunds. For information about eligibility for returns, exchanges or refunds, please refer to the Site Optex Returns & Refunds Policy.
Customers should not return products without first following the applicable return procedure or receiving instructions from Site Optex.
13. Delivery of Special or Bulk Orders
Large, bulk or special orders may require separate delivery arrangements. Such orders may have different delivery charges, lead times or logistics requirements, which will be communicated before confirmation where applicable.
